Being avid watchers of HGTV and their home inspection shows, we knew that for our home inspection it was crucial to find someone with expertise, extensive knowledge and the understanding of how important a home inspection is to a potential buyer. After searching the internet for a local person I came across Neil's website and the fabulous video he has posted which explains how he works and shows you the methods he uses to be as thorough as possible. During the inspection, Neil was great at answering all of our questions and explaining what he was doing in addition to displaying exemplary respect for the property as he touched, turned on, and looked behind everything possible. Not only is he an expert and a professional, he has a warm and very kind personality and when coupled with his ethical nature and assurance that he is working for the buyer and no one else, this makes for a very comforting home inspection. I would recommend Neil to anyone wanting a thorough and honest inspection!

I would rate Neil an 11 (oh wait, the max score is 10?). Where do I begin? Utmost professional and a true subject matter expert that CARES! Earlier than appointed time. Very efficient in sequencing inspection steps and full of knowledge. Pointed out problems and as well pointed out stuff I should not worry about and EXPLAINED in detailed fashion both types WHY. Employs hi-tech tools that allows us to examine from a safe situation a lot of stuff that otherwise hard to get to and may be hidden. Even the guy he brought over for pest inspection is superb (Walt).

Neil's level of knowledge is impressive. He was able to answer every question, and if it was a question outside the scope of home inspection he would call someone to get the answer immediately. Even 3 or 4 months after the inspection, he gladly and promptly replied to my inquiries. Neil also used state of the art equipment from digital photos, to computerized testing in my case. It's great to have a detailed report with photos so you can see exactly what is going on. Also the report isn't just a list of facts, he writes recommendations and explains things in an easy to understand context so that you really understand what is going on with the home you are about to purchase. Lastly he is a gentleman. At one point the realtor was late to show up to let us in the house and he patiently waited with me outside for a little over an hour. If you are looking for an honest and knowledgeable professional, Neil is your guy.

Being a first time home owner the process could be very intimidating. When i chose to use Neil for my home inspection from the moment he started till he finished i knew i had made the right choice. Not only is he efficient but he is full of knowledge and professionalism. That helped me understand what the house had to offer even before i am moving in. He did my home inspection about a month ago and he was great, spent a lot of time inspecting every small detail, explained everything and wrote a long and detailed report with many photos.
